Assistant Director Joe Edison’s professional career has always been focused on children and the arts. After attending the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York, Joe went on to manage and perform with a traveling theatre troupe who performed exclusively for audiences of school children. Prior to his time with At Your Door Music, Joe spent almost a decade in management at the Heelys Corporation (you know, the sneakers with the wheels in the heels).

Joe says “My work with At Your Door Music allows me to combine my passion for music with my experience in education and business management in a positive and creative environment.”

Aria Christiansen is a fourth generation musician.  She was handed a violin at 18 months old and has been playing and singing ever since.  Aria holds a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre and a Masters of Music in Pedagogy.  Aria’s years of experience in Music Education and Administration finds her uniquely qualified for her role with At Your Door Music.

Aria tells us: “Music provides one of the most remarkable forms of self-expression. I strongly believe that children who grow up playing an instrument become compassionate, confident people. I strive to make this a better world through music. Music is my life.”

Director Andrew Berke’s vision for At Your Door Music stems from his long career in Music Education as a music teacher, pianist, singer and composer. Andrew is driven by his life-long love of music and his commitment to educating the next generation of musicians.

In his own words: “When children learn to play musical instruments with an inspiring teacher they develop creativity and self-esteem, they learn how to persist in a task to achievement and they experience the simple pleasure of being able to make music.”
